Anche perché è nel carcere di Rovereto che Stefano è stato trovato morto, qualche ora dopo il suo fermo.
Ci siamo mossi a sostegno delle proteste dei detenuti per delle condizioni carcerarie più vivibili. Le lettere che abbiamo ricevuto ci hanno fatto conoscere un mondo che si vorrebbe tenere nascosto e lontano: abusi, sovraffollamento, criminalizzazione della povertà. Abbiamo così scoperto che 2/3 dei detenuti sono dentro per reati di poco conto – insomma povera gente che qualche cambiamento legislativo farebbe uscire now - and that the causes of this are profoundly social.
